That makes things even worse, 100 million people will die if it effects the world. Economy wont do that for sure. Also, the economy does not effect third world countries and poor people as much as it effects people with money and higher middle class.

Ask the poorest people of the world whether they care about the world economy. It has done nothing for them.

It looks like he's not so bad after all. Sometimes people use personal experience to deal with new problems that isn't always adequate or appropriate. I commend his sober apology, if only certain politicians had the same maturity and sense of professionalism.
