Gaga among 2 artist ever to win both major Grammy for pop vocal album

The nominations for the 63rd annual Grammy Awards won't be announced until November, but we have a front-runner in at least one category: best traditional pop vocal album. James Taylor's American Standard, which enters the Billboard 200 at No. 4 this week, features the veteran balladeer singing such prized songs as "Moon River" and "It's Only a Paper Moon."

If American Standard wins a Grammy, Taylor would be just the third artist to win for both best pop vocal album and best traditional pop vocal album. The first two were Joni Mitchell and Lady Gaga. Mitchell won best pop album for Turbulent Indigo (1995) and the trad pop award for Both Sides Now (2000). Gaga won best pop vocal album for The Fame Monster (2010) and the trad pop award for Cheek to Cheek (2014), a collab with Tony Bennett.

Its great for studying along with, it's actually good to get a break from the dance heavy pop music that I normally listen too! I REALLY hope she can create an original jazz album at somepoint rather than just doing covers

She can do one jazz again with Tony not just for calling it an album but because she loves Tony so much I would love for them to spend more time together. 

Original jazz will come for sure when she thinks it's right time and has enough fanbase to support her if Tony isn't there.

Born this way was robbed all in its lifetime. It deserved to win AOTY among other grammy, many #1 singles and much more critical acclaim than it received. I am glad this fan base truly appreciates the album.

I love Adele but how does a collection of ballads compare to not only an album, a revolution?

I wasn't as I joined GGD only in 2017. Many people loved C2C on its release. And that number has anything but increased a lot even in the fanbase.
