I went from "meh" to "I ****ing love Imagine Dragons and that hottie Dan Raynolds". Their music grows in me everyday, I love their last 3 albums sooo much such a young and rebel spirit but very optimistic tho. This song is a bop and it's about keeping your way no matter what other people from your school or work are thinking and keeping faith mo matter how bullied you are. It's popular to hate on top 40 hits or basic mainstream music as well and ppl seem very biased against it And they show their bias even more when their fav releases basic music themselves and suddenly it's a good song I myself never saw things that way.
