I don't really consider Taylor a pop girl. Even though shes had pop singles lately, she's still not really a global pop tart in the way you'd think of them. (Katy/Gaga/Rihanna)

This year we've been stuck with Justin Bieber, 1D, and her.

Basically. 1D is already fading though.

With so many pop girls not doing anything right now, 2013 is gonna be insane.

Britney, Gaga, potentially Adele, Beyonce, Katy all making their comebacks.

There were comebacks this year too, they all just mostly fizzled or were with men.

Bruno and JB were successful, Xtina/Ketchup flopped. Rihanna you cant consider a comeback since she never left.

I'd say the only actual star for 2012 IS taylor swift, and thats why Red is outperforming competition so well. there really is none

T swifts successful push on pop radio shows you can come back though on that format.

She was struggling with Top 40 after her initial success but is back on track.

If Gaga can get a hot single out for pop radio as well, she'll be on the same path. (Gaga never lost pop radio per-se, but isnt as big as she was on it)

I wouldn't say Ke$ha flopped. Just because her album sales are lackluster, she's in for an extremely successful round of singles. Die Young was also one of the year's biggest radio hits.

:lmao:

Like I said earlier, she's not an album artist- clearly. She will be a dominating force on radio for months to come though.

Ah, Britney at least gave me Scream & Slay so I can at least say that I got something from her. We've been paid dust by Gaga. :rip: Well, we did get a few "fun" songs that Gaga fooled around with.

Well, I think we need to be fair and point out Gaga's been kicking her ass between the tour and fragrance this year.

So for us it's a break, but for her it's still been non-stop. She's literally been on every continent this year.

But if she doesnt announce the single on XMAS or NYE .... Im gonna die

One thing's for certain, Gaga will never take a vacation. :dies:

Except to go surfing in Mexico while one of her songs leaks. :derpga:

I think after ARTPOP's era, she'll take a real break. As in, not touring and not putting out music.

Right now she's on a media break, but not a true break. Shes still working

If she survives the Revolu$hun though
