Dangerous Man 9,245
Congratulations to Bruno Mars for his 5th HOT 100 single. I guess he just became the first artist in recent memory to have his first two singles from his first two albums to hit #1 in the HOT 100 chart. That's one huge accomplishment. And well deserving for Warner Music's biggest moneymaker at the moment. I've never seen a male solo artist securing multiple HOT 100 #1s in a relatively short period of time since Usher's chart domination back in the 2000's. If anything, this further solidified Bruno Mars' place as among the most successful HOT 100 artists of the 2010's along with Katy Perry and Rihanna. the slayage. inb4 someone bring the discount. Arturo 40,746
Some people say this could be Bruno's 'Teenage Dream' Perhaps. He already has great momentum. However, he doesn't have that many single worthy songs on the album, or very many songs at all! I only see Natalie and Treasure smashing. inb4 someone bring the discount. It's not like it didn't happen so it deserves to be brought it up lol
Dangerous Man 9,245
I wonder how many weeks will the T20/20E dominate the Rnb/Hiphop charts. The new RnB King tbh. oh wait...I just remember Usher. Mills 446
The accomplishment has been sealed and done. I strongly believe that whatever sales promotion pulled by the label would arguably no longer be relevant at this point. Even the legendary Mariah Carey in her peak during the 1990's benefitted a sales tactic to extend her HOT 100 #1s streak. Why cannot Bruno Mars? I see nothing wrong with artists/labels wanting to maximize their success.
Dangerous Man 9,245
plus Bruno will not probably release as many as 5 singles for an era. Well, unless if his label convinced him to do so. WIWYM was already a stretch, and although it worked, to be completely honest, without the discount I doubt it would have hit #1. At this point, I'm just looking forward to seeing what tactics Warner will use to get his next singles to #1. Hoping they have some more creativity than Capitol. 69 cent singles and rent-a-rapper mixes are getting boring.

chris777 112
Talking about that discount so many times is so annoying. It's like when people didn't stop when BTW had the 99 cents deal. Move on
Dangerous Man 9,245
Has Bruno ever toured? Congrats to him on another #1 Of course. and now he's doing stadiums. Some fans have wanted that for a while. It would be a mess, but a mess that;s worth it!

Dangerous Man 9,245
and why continue hating on artist though? The hate you're showing here is like he destroyed your life. I mean I can still enjoy charts without hating on any artists (at least rn). Disliking is okay imo, but hating is just pathetic. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
