I'm in Virginia. We do offer absentee ballots, but otherwise our polls are open until 7p on election day, in the neighborhood you live in. I was shocked to hear that there are parts of the country where you can vote multiple days, throughout your county.

Many polling places open early in Virginia, at 6 a.m. You need to check with your location to see if they open early. If you work 13 hours a day, you might want to check to see if you can absentee vote.

The majority of states have early voting.

The date on which early voting begins may be as early as 45 days before the election, or as late as the Friday before the election. The average starting time for early voting is 22 days before the election.

Early voting typically ends just a few days before Election Day.

Early voting periods range in length from four days to 45 days; the average length is 19 days.

And I will vote for him if that is what it’s down to.
But I’d still like to see how will they safe their faces when/if Bernie elected President and didn’t deliver all those promises that sensible people already know that it’s too good to be true. After all things they did, being extra and nasty to other people and burning bridges, even to their fellow Democrats friends. It might be a sight to see

well i'm poor. but as someone who has studied politics academically, you pretty much develop some of an ability to look at things objectively.  while i am voting progressive, i pretty much understand that most of what is being espoused won't come into fruition. it'll clearly be a watered down version, if anything at all. anyone who understands how government works should know that. and i've thought what you've thought, too, that it'll be something to see when president sanders compromises and his coalition turns on him.

It just shows that people who make theories about Warren on this forum dont know what they are talking about.

It will be interesting to see who she will endorse.

Harris Walz 2024

She had a good run but it was time. I doubt she endorses but it's not a huge deal anymore. All the focus is on Biden and Bernie now.

I think the problem is that many young people can't take time off work to go vote, because they are in entry-level jobs where they can get fired or punished for taking time off. :selena:  In my rural state the "neighborhood voting locations" are often in the one school in the whole county and you gotta drive 20-30 minutes to get there :selena:   There is no early voting and you have to have a "valid excuse" ahead of time prepared to mail-in. Super Tuesday was a lot of Southern states like mine who probably have problems with similar restrictions

That is no excuse tbh.

Absentee voting, or voting that is done by mail before election day, is available in some form in all states. As of July 30, 2019, in 28 states and Washington, D.C, any citizen could cast an absentee ballot without an excuse. And 19 states required an excuse in order for a voter to cast an absentee ballot. Three states use a vote-by-mail system: Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.

only the grey parts of the map are not offering mail in voting. Unless you live in of these grey area states, you can really do your best.

Mail ballots can generally be returned by being placed in the mail, placed in a designated drop box, or delivered in person to an election official's office.

Not to mention, as of 2019, 24 states and D.C. permitted someone chosen by the voter to return mail ballots on their behalf in most cases.

So far my theory’s been dead right just waiting for the Biden endorsement.

Trust. She WILL endorse Biden 🤢

She will either endorse Biden or no one at all. She’s made it very clear that she does not support Bernie.

not Bernie praising her on Twitter. Altho it could be a trap bc he painted her as a progressive. If she endorsed Joe she’d get dragged skskdj

Sorry about that. These days, there are people who would write something like that and actually mean it seriously.

That's not accurate. Michigan has mail in voting since we voted for an election overhaul in 2018. I voted early and then changed my vote at my clerk's office today.
