It shows that she’s aware of the power of verbiage with respect to socio-historical context (in this case, Native American bands). Plus, it doesn’t affect anything else regarding the visuals, or (likely) the music. That said, I think, if she only changed the terminology around describing them, and retained everything around its core concept, I don’t think it should be an issue. ... unless she had literal songs or lyrics using “tribes”, which, as you’re saying, would be an iffy scenario. Tbh, I haven't seen any backlash when it comes to the "Tribe" name, so I'm not sure what all of a sudden makes them rethink it (if this is all true). Let's (collectively) not take the information about the word 'tribes' and turn it into this story that she's scrapped an entire concept. I don't mean to be having a go at you speficially @OMonster, and you could be right on the money with the information you've shared! I'm more talking about the people who are fuelled by things like this and channel it as hate towards Gaga. I know it's fun to discuss what might be going on, but some fans take the information and become really nasty and toxic. That's completely fair, and no offence taken I completely agree that it's wrong to channel any kind of hate towards Gaga, particularly on the basis of what could very possibly be false information. What happens behind the scenes is an unknown to us all, and only Gaga and her team know what's happening right now. I definitely do not intend to share anything to stir up any drama or anger towards Gaga. And to be honest, as most will know on here, I know nothing other than what I have been (possibly falsely) told. I'm just sharing information because it excites me to talk about it, not because I'm saying it's true. Truthfully, anyone can lie. And I have no evidence that what I've been told is true. And all I have been told, true or not, is pretty exciting regards the cover. It's just my own worries that have clouded things. No one has told me she is changing the cover - that's just my own thoughts. So, yeah. Let's just wait to see how this all unfolds, and take any discussion with a pinch of salt.
