Listen, I’m one of those who are upset with the delay and do think it could’ve gone on as planned. BUT saying that she “let a virus ruin an album” is why people like me who are RATIONALLY upset get muddled in with people like you who make these ignorant ridiculous comments. I obviously understand the rationale of why it was postponed but that “virus” is a pretty monumental thing destroying literally every aspect of human life across the globe. I think that’s why the delay was even more hard to digest, that COVID took another thing away. It’s getting ridiculous. But don’t make comments like that. You’re just fishing for arguments.

That's really not what I'm doing. I'm just not a hyped out 14 year old having a tantrum because my fave made a sensible decision about her own piece of work.

Idk how you can say it's dumb you're not a famous artist, if you know so much then get in touch with Interscope, sounds like they could really use a hand.

Sorry but I’m not gonna switch you because of a virus. From the jump I thought it was tragic how they’re letting a virus control the rollout of the album. They could’ve easily came up with some last minute low budget promo, there’s no excuse.

I don't see anyone pretending it would be easy to promote an album during a pandemic. I don't see anyone suggesting that things are easy for her behind the scenes right now.

All that is different then saying it is feasible for someone with an almost unthinkable amount of resources, and almost unmatched public platform, and an entire team of creative and business people around them, to be able to promote an album in three weeks.

Amazon and Apple are helping to fight the COVID-19 outbreak.  Amazon is stopping all non-essential items (but hey that Gaga album guys?!), Apple is trying to distribute medical supplies that are on shortage, and her fashion industy is probably taking a hit with the current economy.  You have NO idea what's going on behind the scenes and more than likely it's not good.  

 

No one said she can't delay the album. That's a reasonable, albeit disappointing choice. I'm explaining why I feel it's a missed opportunity.

You might want to talk to Haus Labs about non-essential items being purchased and shipped at this time. I wasn't suggesting that she use her contacts with Apple and Amazon for them to physically ship the album or promote the album in a traditional way. I was saying she could collaborate with them on a creative level to insure more people hear her music, to bring relief during this difficult time.
