She always does the whole package, and I know many don’t care much about all of that and just want the music and it’s fine, but this is just how Gaga operates. She wouldn’t just drop an album to give their fans something to distract themselves or something, that has never been her style and probably never will be. From C2C to her Enigma Vegas shows...it's like she can't do anything right in their eyes. I mean, Stupid Love debuted at #5 but her fans still consider that a flop. If she stopped caring about her fans, I wouldn't even be surprised. But that's not the case cuz she clearly just wanted the album to have a proper era. I'd say when we get the stats for the artist who will actually still release on the 10th to then be able to see if she could of still had a decent release. But I agree whether we buy now or in 2-7 months she will sell the same number of physical copies usually people who buy the physical like to still buy it so even if the physical copies came later due to the distribution thing it would balance out eventually imo. It is because she doesn't want to be celebrating and being all like "YAY LET'A ALL PARTY!!!" in the middle of a global pandemic. Like she would probably get some backlash for "not caring about real issues" plus it probably would not feel overall nice thing to do. Plus on top of all of that many of the things she had planned got cancelled because of this and it would just be overall better to delay so she can actually do these planned ideas for the record.
