I want to understand Gaga but it really feels like ****. It feels like she really doesn’t care about those of us who just want music in these ****ed up times. She wants to have a full blown out era, great. She can do that. But here we are, most of us just wanting music from her- a lot of us using her as our anchor to stay sane. I was counting the days, using the fact this album was coming soon to get through hard af situations and now there’s nothing. And knowing Gaga’s terrible track record with “postponing” things... will this album ever actually see the light? And if it does, will it be ruined by the terrible way she handled this. Literally writing out on a notes app about how it doesn’t feel right releasing music when she promised she’d go back to being the pop star we all loved. I don't think I actually expected her to go to full-on electropop dance music. I was thinking something more electronic-pop rock-ish? Something adjacent to 80's synth-rock?
