People are infected in the US. It doesn’t matter if health care is free or not, hospitals beds will be overwhelmed if this goes highly widespread. Many people will die of other conditions because hospitals will be overwhelmed. Cities will be quarantined for weeks. It only seems to be 'rapid' due to prior infections now being confirmed in other countries. New data suggests this virus will probably just be seasonal, as new infections are slowing down as the temperatures are rising in some areas of the world. It mimics influenza in almost every aspect, too. Like, I know old people who have died from the flu over the years.
