Can't they just let the dead stay dead? The world has already mourned her passing and moved on. And who gets the money from this tour??

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I mean I like my Hatsune Miku, but she was never actually alive. Different with these singers who have passed. It just don't feel right. Can't we just let them finally rest??

I felt like it was super disrespectful when they did it to MJ for three reasons:

Slave to the Rhythm wasn't finished and wasn't meant to be released.

They did a remix of it, and he hated when other producers messed with his music.

And seriously? So many LIVING acts but they have to ressurect the dead to make a few dollars?

It's tacky, morbid, and gross honestly. For something that could be so cool (holograms, and Gaga best turn PetGa/Enigma into one), they're doing it so dirty :interestinga:

"She adored her audiences and that's why we know she would have loved this holographic theatrical concept,"

It was a very bad idea from the beginning and it's such a depressing obvious cash grab. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous as well. £65 to see a hologram? Just no. :air:

The MJ one wasn't even him. They had an impersonator and digitally (badly) edited the face of the "hologram" to resemble him. Complete waste of time.

same with Tupac (or his body was cgi) but that makes sense if you don't have footage of their full body in one take for an entire performance

I don't know who is dumber, the people who taught this is a good idea, or people who bought tickets for this...  :awkney:

edit:

Wait, changed my mind, the people who buy tickets to see a hologram are definitely  dumber, the people making this are just trying to take advantage of them.
