I also got kind of a "let's bash Scandinavia" vibe from the video. There was something really annoying about that asian guy who said "even the danish isn't Danish". There was just something about his body language and his facial expression, that send off that vibe, but I can't quite put my finger on it. They say that rye bread is originally from Turkey which is wrong. It's actually originally from Germany. So it's true, that it doesn't come from Scandinavia, but it's completely false that it's from Turkey. I believe they had good intentions with the video, and as I said in a previous comment, it goes well with their current campaign where they talk about all the things we can gain and learn from travelling. And perhaps, secret survey on how people will react. This is all kind of mess and reminds me with that one Japanese airline ad that was having their models using fake nose to look Caucasian. People need to stop ignorantly pairing patriotism with something negative. I’m an American. I love our culture, our innovations, our international influence. There is so much positive About our culture. We have a lot to be ashamed of with our past as well. But that doesn’t make me any less proud of my home country. I love the beautiful cultures of all the countries around the world. And most countries, especially larger countries with strong economies have dark pasta as well. People need to understand that as long as your country is evolving and improving from its mistakes, you’re in a good spot. Be proud of your country, and don’t hate on other countries.
