Guillaume Hamon 6,989
Didn't he say "Look fat..." to someone a few weeks ago? And said "go vote for someone else" at least 3 times in a few weeks? He needs to calm down and remember he's there to convince folks and look convincing 24/7 during a campaign. Pls, yeah you worked hard but the fact you had to get to jobs I’m the first place shows how broken the system is. And then you have people arguing for keeping it hard just bc it’s not fair for it to be easier to anyone else. ANYONE can have an iPhone these days. They give you 2 years to pay it off. $20-$30 a month is not bad for most consumers, even those who don’t earn much. I grew up in an area where MOST ADULTS have to have TWO-THREE jobs just to pay rent and feed their children. And their kids (my schoolmates) weren’t even allowed to have a smart phone or EVEN A SHITTY LAPTOP FOR HOMEWORK because their parents still couldn’t afford it. Just because you’re privileged enough to not have to work til death to barely make ends meet, DOESN'T MEAN THOSE ARE ARE SUFFERING POVERTY SHOULD STAY SUFFERING. Why do y’all like to pretend that poor, struggling people don’t exist? Or that they someone deserve it? Smh

I bust my ass and I like having an additional rental income on MY property that I OWN without the government telling me how much I can rent it for. That is the worst type of socialism and he just proposed it in a joke. Morphine Prince 109,655
ALSO, access to technology can HELP people in poverty. An iPhone could literally EMPLOY you as an Uber driver, a food delivery driver, etc. An iPhone or a laptop is an INVESTMENT in many cases. College students INVEST in technology for their studies. Marilyn MonHoe 11,011
Anyways just another instance of Biden being out of touch and unable to connect with the electorate. Will centrists call him out for this? When Bernie sneezes you have people on GGD who will quickly make a thread about it but when Biden says literal garbage like this those same people are silent. And if they do comment in the thread they still deflect to Bernie Hmmm it’s almost as if they’re extremely biased and don’t care about having any kind of integrity
