I strongly dislike her. I know they're a euthanizing organization too, and I find that terrible and super hypocritical. The point of my comment was that the quotes you posted were either taken out of context or simply forged, and it's better to fight against what people did do than what people didn't. The reason a shelter might be killing pets is they have limited resources and are not a priority for the government + ironically aren't supported by the community for their reputation of being killers And people don't search for them (especially handikapped animals and black cats) so they can't care for them properly, with limited space and food, it's crowded. So don't be passive in this situation, It is us that buy and abandon and over-select, and when we adopt from them it is one saved life. Peta is no guardian angel, we should be the action. If the adoptions rose in number and shelters had support from the community, there would be enough supplies for all animals they take, and none would be euthanized On the other hand if you buy an animal, you're most likely supporting a business that is keeping poor females caged with minimal space, food and attention to be bred over and over to attend your demmand ice heard one side from above Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
