Just because he can talk like Obama doesn't mean we're in 2008. We're a different country now and we're in a different place. We don't just take empty words and platitudes from people who pretend like they're saying something. Unbelievable, Obama had to sign an executive order just to get Obamacare done and Marco Rubio and the Republicans started dismantling it but by bit from the inside with a majority in the Senate. What are you going to say when Bernie can't get anything done with a Republican Senate. Will you take your words back or blame Bernie. What's good for the goose... Whether they win or not, they should continue this strategy going forward. Many of the other campaigns haven't. I'm sorry but black and Latinos won't run and vote for someone like Pete. Harris Walz 2024 1,451
Mayor Pete has JFK looks and swag not to mention his political astuteness. It was smart for him to claim victory. Keep seethn. Proud of Liz Warren and Amy too.

I'm sorry but black and Latinos won't run and vote for someone like Pete. Exactly. People got mad at me on here for saying it... But the magic link between Iowa momentum into black support is... appeal to the black community that was previously buoyed by uncertainty about the candidate, not the win itself. Pete still has outlying issues with the black community he has not sufficiently addressed, this isnt '08 where people WANTED to support Obama but thought he couldn't win If pete wins NH, maybe he could see some boost from black people, but jumping from hovering within the MoE (so 0-3%) to 20% or something seems unlikely. As of now Bernie is more poised to pick up black support, as polls show him closing in on Joe in SC (5 points!) and elsewhere just as of last week. Bernie has to control this narrative and continue their inroads with the black community in SC though, and he has a chance of winning with this Joe Biden flop, but we'll see! They should probably point out Buttigieg's missteps with the black police chief, the racially inaccurate comments he has made in the past, his douglass plan snafu, the reporting done on the incident in South Bend with him taking advantage of black support, the literal allegation of him staging black people around him in press releases(yes, allegedly that is a documented thing going back to 2012 etc. etc. as well. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

We actually do need Unity, I just get upset when its used as a cudgel against Progressives for existing or calling out corruption/wrong doing and is hypocritical, but this hurts that cause. There's no way the DNC gets out of this unscathed even if it wasn't rigged with how the whole thing was handled with their track record against him... I don't expect Bernie himself to ever say "it was rigged" (unless we find out it was) but... there's no way this will stop now. The optics are just too messy - Bernie predicted to win massively, ends up in second place, on the eve of him being predicted to be the new frontrunner for the Democratic party with numerous think pieces and journalistic articles coming out about DNC officials scrambling to try to stop him... Plus the potential conflict of interest with Pete... it could very well be all coincidental, and the DNC got a saving grace in an honest victory... but it doesn't matter anymore Everyone ****ing loses I guess Joe might have gotten a saving grace if he doesnt get obliterated in the media, but it seems all data was accurate in that Joe got 4th place and he might be able to spin this as "look the results were inconclusive" (even if they were conclusive) now with the media circus...but his campaign IMO should be in the tanks after this, its an embarassment, and certainly part of why Obama has been so hopeful of someone overtaking him... I dislike Obama for many things, but he is an astute politician minus his Bernie blindside. Michael Bloomberg however, with the reports of him doubling his ad spending - if Biden cant come out of this unscathed, Bloomberg is about to SNATCH his moderate weave. Also, $500 million on ads potentially... Notice how this has not only nothing relevant to do with the original post, but does absolutely nothing but compare politicians from completely different timeliness that have nothing to do with each other. 2020 has nothing to do with 2008 or 2012, and there are entirely different issues overtaking it lmaooo The centrists though, as always, want to make it be about personality, feelings, and a horse race.
