It doesn’ fit anyone’s standard cause it looks objectively bad. Pls don’t call me misogynistic, if i have high expectations from her it’s cause i really respect her. And i can tell she’s not putting much effort in the show  besides looks and that’s  understandable for few reasons  but still those don’t make the show itself any better

She's not screeching, nor is her voice damaged. If that were the case, the same issues would pop up in this performance,

Lastly, there really isn't much difference between say these two performances aside from the fact that she's using more distortion and a slightly more nasal placement in the Enigma version.

She sells out, it's rated as one of the top (or the top) Vegas residency on various entertainment lists, and Enigma is critically acclaimed. I find the dialog bits to be cringey as f*ck, too, but it's delulu the way some of you act like Engima is some giant failure because of stan twitter—which is often amplified by people who aren't even fans. Stan twitter, and this website, is kind of an echo chamber which confirms y'all's preconceived ideas where the loudest voices get the most attention and everyone else gets ignored. 

At the very least, at least Enigma is more than half way over so maybe the vocal stans that hate it can just chill the f*ck out for a while...especially as new music is coming soon (or soon-ish).

Well that MR reasons is the only part she sounded like her old self

All of the other songs sounded out of breath, nasally, and pitchy.

Her 2013-17 vocals and 2008-2013 performances spoiled me..

As for the vocals, I really just think she isn’t really trying. 

The first songs are always great, and the runs of the latter songs were the vocals sound strained are great too, so...

It’s  just her being lazy. I mean, she went off tempo for like half of the concert. Do we really think she’s becoming deaf and can’t hear the music anymore? No, she’s just lazy.

You can tell because TEOG was quite not it but Million Reason was GREAT and than Y&I was pretty bad, and also JD as the opening has always great vocals. 

It’s just she runs out of breath and loses a bit of technique, add that to her being lazy af during like the second half of the show because of fybro, maybe sleep, idk work, everything (she’s not even trying with the choreo)

I agree, the show was really boring! I skipped most parts when she was talking because I found them cringey. Then the looks... argh, that wig is terrible. She should throw it. The lack of props has a bad impact on the overall quality of the show, her movements are stiff, glad she skipped Judas because she can't dance properly anymore.

I'll give you this—better to be b*tchy on GGD than some of the so-called fans literally tweeting nasty sh*t, far meaner than what you've said, right at Gaga. That type of sh*t then sometimes gets picked up by PopCrave and tweeted right at her, and you know at that point she's aware when such a massive account does it. I don't care how rich or famous someone is, they don't deserve that sort of cyber bullying unless they've done something truly heinous and no, even if you strongly dislike Engima that doesn't "count" as justification for cyber bullying.

It's fine if you don't like it—I just don't get folks calling others delulu for liking it or saying it's "objectively bad" (maybe they don't know the meaning of objective?) when Gaga has critical and commercial success with Engima. At this point, I hope Engima ends soon because frankly the discourse is making keeping up with fan sh*t, which is supposed to be fun, not worth it.

As for the choreography I’d like to explain myself

I’m not expecting her to do full on choreos like 2011, she suffers from extreme body pain and it’s just better for her the less she moves.

What I think is, it’s better not to do something, instead of doing it badly. If she can’t dance properly (BR choreos is really painful to watch, and I mean this in the last shady or insulting way as possible) just find another way! She doesn’t have to dance necessarily, she can hire someone to teach her some other body movement to only accompaign the choreo imo, that’d be great!

It's simply that her vocal delivery since last year is not on her standards as a vocalist. Just watch any performance of The edge of glory on joanne world tour (a 100x harder song than Shallow) and then come back here and tell me that you really doesn't hear any difference in her tone, range, ease, agility.
