I didn’t say it would disqualify your opinion, just that you aren’t and won’t be personally impacted by the changes we are seeing now and that we will see in the next four years under Trump. (and in the after effects from two terms)

It’s easy to throw out opinions like “go against the system”, if you aren’t having to live within that system. Some of us would prefer not to see a roll back in the areas of equality in the decades to come. Those decisions will impact us living here on a personal level.
