The message, the production, the lyrics, the 80s synth pop with a modern twist, her matured voice and vocal abilities. When she sang the "All I ever wanted was love" my mouth dropped, Haters gonna hate, They will crawl back to us others who enjoy it, when it goes trough the roof and makes her big comeback. We definitely might be very at odds because rn this is a contender to be my least favorite Gaga song of all time. Also I just took out the song on the piano and it's not doing anything for me the way her past lead singles have done. There's just nothing melodically exciting that I can play. BlingNotTheMusic 25,965 Posted January 21, 2020 Share Posted January 21, 2020 Pros: boppy, clubby, instantly catchy, vocals on point, production is top notch Cons: basic lyrics, we've heard "I want your love" how many times?, isn't as edgy or iconic as I was expecting. Some have mentioned the lack of poetic, smart lyricism and I have to agree. Especially with how Gaga has spoken about being a 30+ yo woman in the pop world. Was hoping the lyrics and subject matter would be more witty but still fun. ANYWAYS HOW GLAD ARE WE THAT WE (almost) HAVE NEW GAGA DANCE MUSIC WHAT WHAT!!!!
