Tom Steyer is the only person on Earth who knows what was said in that exchange. Someone subpoena him.

He'll claim executive privilege. What's the point?

it seems like "the internet" is behind Bernie with the Warren feud, at least with CNN's reporting there are so many comments of "CNN is smearing Bernie" "disappointed in Elizabeth" etc. love that! it was alright, I'm surprised Steyer is there but he said some good things.

I hope enough people see through the bulls*t and turn on Warren if they haven't already. Bernie has every right to be upset with her right now.

I'm a little out of the loop. Can someone explain why everyone is so sure that Elizabeth is lying about what Bernie said?

It was bound to happen. the Bernie vs Warren feud the corporate media wanted so bad, well here it is. One of them was bound to gobble the others voters at one point or another, and here were are so close to Iowa. Lets see what happens in polling after this debate, very interested to see.

Bernie has said he thinks a female could and should win as far back as the 80s. Bernie pushed for Liz to run as the progressive in 2016 because he thought she could win. When he failed to convince her, he decided to do it himself.  Bernie has said many times that if gets the nomination, he will run with a younger female  VP.

So at BEST, Liz horrifically misrepresented what Bernie said and with incredibly suspicious timing -- the day before the most important debate of the race, 3 weeks before Iowa, and right as Bernie's poll numbers began surging and her's started falling.

Warren’s campaign is effectively over and the fact she would do what she did is disgusting.

Period.

Yall just wait until Iowa happens and she starts not making 15% at precincts

Besides the fact that she's obviously lying, she has never provided any actual proof or any sources to back up her outlandish claims. And now she is asking her voters to de-escalate the situation

I agree that Bernie is not sexist, but he could have made the comment in the context of talking about our sexist culture and society. You do not know for a fact that Bernie did not say it... No one in the gp does.

In addition, I find it odd that you personally attribute this incident to Warren personally in such an unequivocal manor. We do not know for a fact that this was her personally leaking this right now.

I like Warren, so I admittedly have a little bias. However, I like Bernie more and am currently planning on voting for him in my state's primary.

Don't you think it is  important that we stop jumping to conclusions and then presenting our assumptions as incontrovertible facts?

The tragedy here is that Biden is benefitting from this orchestrated feud from Warren’s camp.

Bernie saying something like that would be the equivalent of Gaga saying the trans community should have no rights. People like Bernie and Gaga have too  much integrity and it is proven via their track record.

If you look at my post above yours, you will see that what Warren has said goes completely against anything that Bernie Sanders stands for. Making up this lie was her sad attempt at beating Bernie in the polls.

She even asked her key voters to de-escalate the situation she created. She is lying. Sorry.
