Kim Kardashian Claps Back at Claim She Didn't Donate to Australia Wildfires Relief Efforts

The wildfires have claimed the lives of at least 17 people and burned through more than 11 million acres since they sparked in September.

Kim Kardashian West is setting the record straight.

The reality star, 39, clapped back at a fan who accused her family of not donating to the Australian wildfires relief efforts on Twitter Sunday night.

“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires & not donate even a penny,” wrote the fan in a since-deleted tweet, tagging Kardashian West along with sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

Kardashian West stressed that just because they haven’t spoken out about an issue, doesn’t mean they aren’t doing their part.

“Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything,” Kardashian West tweeted.

While Kardashian West didn’t reveal the details of her donation, she joins a growing list of celebrities who have pledged to help those affected by the wildfires, which have claimed the lives of at least 17 people and burned through more than 11 million acres since they sparked in September.

As the more than 130 fires continue to burn, ecologists from the University of Sydney believe almost half a billion total mammals, birds and reptiles have also died in the fires since September.

Although those fan tweets are rude, you can't blame them for not expecting silence from people who publicize practically everything, especially when these people themselves have been very vocal about the fires that also affected them in California.

That is not a clap back, but ok. Their whole life is publicized, they’re flexing with their wealth all the time, now suddenly they’re donating secretly because it’s more genuine. Yeah right. 

Also big donations from multimillionaires and billionaires bring awareness, not just sad emojis about dying koalas with next post about their mink slippers.

i hate when celebs like her constantly tweet about climate change when they use their private jets like bus service. Her entire family has been posting constantly about the Australian bushfires which is obviously great for publicity and raising awareness but the way these celebs use private jets, abuse fast fashion, and are so wasteful in general is quite ironic...

They don't even need to disclose how much, all it takes is a tweet like "Shocked to see what's happening in Australia. Me & my family donated and here's how you can to..."

Concerning California, Kim K and Kanye hired private firefighters to make sure their house doesn't burn. Just goes to show the power these celebs have in this world. Not to mention their sister Kylie Jenner who's a billionaire but spends way too much time in the mirror and doctor's appointments to fix her ass to care about the world and its future & have the self-awareness that money = power and she could do something MASSIVE to help.
