this thread has gotten incredibly messy but i truly can't believe people see this show and feel like they weren't scammed hundreds of dollars for a mediocre performance. she can do so much better. her whole team can do better.

Isn't that the job of an entertainer? To satisfy crowds and make a good amount of money from it?

Like what? Don't forget that we made her famous, kept her famous, and supported her through all these years. It's definitely ok to expect something.

Imo, what made her famous is her amazing talent and lots of very hard work.  She slays every genre she tries, and her multiple talents extend even beyond music.

We are the lucky recipients of everything she performs for us.

I do expect something.  I expect her to be careful with her health and not worsen her injuries and fibro.  Seeing her in pain or in the hospital would be very hurtful to fans who care about the person.  I expect her not to tour until she and her doctors feel it is safe.

She is made for the stage and performing in front of people; it makes her happy.  It's wonderful that Vegas provides her with that opportunity until she can endure a tour.

sometimes this fanbase acts like it went and picked up a random girl off the street to turn into a popstar.

Forgetting that Gaga's own talent, ambition, years of training, hard work, and drive are what got her eventually connected to Interscope and finally in position for potential fans to notice her in the first place.

Ultimately Gaga produces a product that people either like or they don't.   She is under no obligation to always produce the same product or to always cater to the same audience.  And the audience is under no obligation to always consume what she does.

Preach girl but not a good look. I'm sure she doesn't give a fu** right now about anyone's opinion. I'll just be going

Oh, is it? Plenty of very talented people that never make it and work 3 side-jobs to get around. And that is not a two-way street? Can't succeed without fans supporting you. We are the lucky recipients? And she was not lucky for making it, or for having us? Since when would fibro not affect her during a Vegas show, but it would on a tour?

Nobody ever said that Gaga never worked hard, but this entire Vegas thing, her make-up nonsense, and all that money-grab nonsense, excluding her non-US fanbase by doing a 4 year Vegas residency will not be well-received by her fans. So i'm just saying, that whatever she does put out eventually after this entire shitshow is over, might not be well-received, or received at all.

Her making it was not luck, it was from perseverance after rejections and from working hard and trying every avenue until her talent was discovered.  People wouldn't have become fans and supported her if they did not like her talent.  We are lucky that she did not give up and did the hard work to make it and had the talent to back it up.  A world tour is much more demanding than Vegas.  All the travel and living in different places most nights make it difficult to take enough care of her physical problems.

Regardless of how you feel about her current ventures, I think it's quite sad to expect her to fail or not do well just because she's not catering to your expectations of her. It comes off as petty, juvenile, controlling and really, really nasty. You can't expect to follow a woman for a decade of her life and have her remain the same person and do the same things over and over again. Maybe she's not for you anymore and that's okay but wishing ill things upon others just because their harmless life choices don't please you is really appalling.

And the general case bothers me even more.  Many fans wish for the failure of other artists.   If people would take a step back and look at the big picture, they might think differently.  Every artist is just a person hoping for success and happiness.  They work very hard.  Their success supports many people such as family, and many more on a part-time bases such as musicians, dancers, roadies, hairdressers, make-up people, etc.  And Gaga's success gives her the resources and the reach to help many people, and that is very important to Gaga personally and to all the people she helps.   There are thousands she has helped in many ways.    We are our better selves when we wish all artists success and happiness.

How about you don't put words in my mouth.

Her ventures? You really believe it's been a dream of hers to be used to make other people money? Or that it is even really hers? She has argued against her own current ventures plenty of time, and always swore that she had an intimate relationship with her fans.

I don't wish it for her, but I fear it will happen. If she keeps doing these cheap moneygrab things, her fans will leave her, and that always seemed to me the worst thing that could happen to her... to be just the industry product "Gaga" without any relation to who she truly is and what she stands for at all.

Enigma isn't even a creative outlet for her. She's performing old hits. Day after day. Same routine.

Unless everything she said was just a lie? "i'm just glad to be making music".

Well Gaga, your voice is angelic. Use it to make music.

Get your head out of your ***, you definitely need luck to make it as big as Gaga.

This is the same as saying that every billionaire is self-made. Please. Gaga was handed a career by Interscope. And again, never ever did I state that she is not talented or hard working. But you don't seem to realize that there are A LOT of talented incredible singers out there that you will never ever see record a music video.

Anyway, I love her for what she has always done for her fans. She inspired people. Selling make-up doesn't inspire people. She doesn't even really connect with us anymore like she used to.

Anyway you can all come for me for saying it, but the number of "thx" responses to "imagine how tired we are" tells me something.

LMAO Enigma is a huge success and Haus Labs are the highest selling make up in Amazon. What are you even talking about..  Just because you are sulking over her not being like 2011 Gaga and touring worldwide, you don't get to change reality.  And she's gonna be just fine so ease up with the faux concern after you've trashed her career 🙄

Hopefully LG6 will finally cause these  snowflakes to drop off. I don't know how you could be a genuine fan of hers and not be completely proud of her and amazed at how her career has turned out. I think she is an astonishing talent and star  and some of y'all won't ever appreciate what you have until it's gone.

Imagine taking reactions on gagadaily posts seriously and as a barometer of the global attitude towards an artist. I have to laugh!!!!
