The Solution to Will Call!

When would you have to pick up the tickets? The day of the show? Weeks before? A day or two after you buy them? :ohno:

I think it said 90 minutes before show start, which is ridiculous.

I'm bringing my receipt for my ticket in case they do hand out wristbands. That way, I can prove that my ticket is waiting inside

That's a great idea!!

Well that's what TicketMaster said :wtf: but it most likely won't be like that. The box office at the United Center opens at 11am. So I'm sure we should at least be able to pick up tickets then. Sometimes they even let u pick up tickets the day before...I hope they let us here.. :fat:

Ugh I've encountered the same problem... Hopefully this will be the case with every GA ticket whether pre-sale or not so we'll all be in the same boat.

So does anyone know if ALL the GA tickets were will call only?? And not only the pre-sale tickets. Also does anyone know if its just the Chicago show or if its other cites as well? I saw someone mention that their San Jose ticket was will call only...

So I bought my ticket for the Feb 27 Boston show this morning and it's will call. I called ticketmaster and they said they couldn't do anything. I checked the TD Garden website and will call pickup starts 2 hours before the event. Um, how are we supposed to line up at 8am and then pick up tickets at 5:30 and be in two places at once?!?! :excited2::eww:

It will be driven by the promoters and can vary alot, when I travelled out to see U2 at MSG in 2005 we could collect all our tickets in one go. Same tour in Boston they wouldn't give them out until the day of the show (we could get them when the box office opened at 11am). For Kylie in 2011 a UK agent (Seetickets) sold some tickets to the Hammerstein Ballroom - they imposed an utterly ridiculous rule that tickets could not be handed out until the doors opened on the day of the show. Now trying to explain to their staff that we were going to queue all day for front row on the 2nd & 3rd nights and this was essentially useless to us was hard work, we eventually got them all when doors opened on night 1 after a lengthy discussion with the manager who I think just wanted rid of us This is obviously an extreme of box office / promoter stupidity and probably won't happen again like that (Seetickets are notoriously useless).

HORRORHOLIC

I called today and they said there was nothing I could do except pick up the tickets the day of the event about an hour before the show. I honestly had no idea what it was when I picked it but the other delivery option wasn't there and the clock was ticking so being as nervous as I was I just chose that. I'm not at all comfortable with waiting an hour before the show to have my tickets.

I tried and tried and tried with ticketmaster, calling multiple times to try and get them to send them regular mail. Each person said the same thing "WILL CALL ONLY" DHSAJDHAJKHDGSJADHJAFD They were actually quite rude about it. It's not up to them though, unfortunately. There is no solution at this point in time.

so, i don't live in the us but i'm planning on going to one of the 3 shows in florida (still haven't decided wich one)

so if i choose this option i will pick up my ticket just an hour before the show ??? can't it be sooner ??? like i dunno the day of the show ???

I don't get what they're doing? Why is will call their only option? I just tried buying a ticket for one show and it said every option is "delayed" besides will call, even TicketFast. With the LM.com presale, is will call the only option they offer?

If I'm stuck with will call, I'm going to try and get it converted to TicketFast. You have to pay a couple dollars extra but will call sounds like an awfully messy idea.
