The framing is always about how we have to play nice with the republicans. Do you ever see republicans say they have to moderate their views and policies because they have to play nice with the democrats? No, they don't. I'm not saying that extreme partisanship is the way to go here, but it's very clear that when we cannot even pass universal background checks and a ban on assault weapons when majority of both democrats and republican citizens agree on the way forward, It means the way the system is designed today is not designed to make meaningful policy that benefits the people of this country and you can believe whatever you want but I disagree with the premise that Obama compromising on day 1 when compared to what he campaigned on was smart.

Completely. I am sure that someone who is in the room has been the one holding Trump back. We almost went to war with Iran over the silliest thing a few months ago, not to mention the talks with NK, now Mexico, etc... It all looks like to me Trump is okay with the idea of going to war if his base supports it, but he keeps being held back. It's great that we haven't (yet) but I'm also very cognizant of the fact that Trump is almost sociopathically uninterested in things unrelated to him, so the reason we haven't yet can't really be ascribed to him as an individual. Like, can you imagine Trump in the situation room, making decisions on military operations? He's literally an idiot.  As we've learned from Nikki Haley ( ) Tillerson and Kelly were trying to save Donald Trump from himself, because he's not smart or competent enough to know any better. So we should really be thanking those few professionals in the white house and in foreign affairs who are doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Again the solution is to pick a president that isn't a war hawk (which is why we should go with Bernie - Warren's probably weakest spot is her lack of knowledge on foreign policy, and Pete is a proud imperialist in the vein of Clinton and Obama, so we can expect more military action under him for sure) ç§èȘèș«ăăăźäžăźäžăèȘ°ăăăăă, ă©ăăȘă«èŻăăăȘäșșçă§ă, ă©ăăȘă«æČæšăȘäșșçă§ă, ăă€ăăŻć€èČă, ç ŽćŁăăăæ¶æ» ăăŠăăŸă. ăăčăŠăăăšăăšăăźäžă«ććšăăȘăäžçŹăźć軿łăȘăźă ăă

With regard to Sanders, Bernieâs theory of change with regard to rallying the American people and calling out democrats who donât support his agenda has not been done in the same way Bernie advocates for in many, many decades. Iâm not delusional to believe Bernie can get all of his agenda passed but I do believe his theory of change and how we get it passed is the best possible option in the political environment we are currently in.

Im sure Obama will support whoever wins the nomination but its fine to critique your own and make them stronger. I dont love any nominee right now and a lot of people feel the same. There is a difference between being indifferent or not yet informed enough about a candidate to support one and having the inclination to actively stop Bernie from being the nominee. The fact that he would even consider speaking out against a candidate that actual Americans literally want as their nominee tells you a LOT about him  And its not because Bernie is an existential threat to democracy or American civilization, its because hes a threat to corruption, which we should all support. That would be so incredibly partisan and improper to do. Its like saying "If the next nominee doesn't follow my goals and plans to a tea, they won't be allowed to win" - Can you imagine if all political parties and candidates all had to be exactly the same in order to get support? This whole scenario gives him too much influence over the future of the country contrasted with the actual citizens of this country. It's lowkey anti-democratic. Lets take his problem with Elizabeth Warren. He likes her, he wanted her in his administration, supported and lobbied for the CFPB even when she wasn't in congress, considers her a friend, etc. His problem with her isn't her or her ideas, its that  her ideas would make his legacy look bad because it will do what he refused to do - tax the rich and help solve income inequality. This whole thing is really arrogant and shows his insecurity about his own legacy, which really shouldn't matter at all. Obama can put his pride away and support what is best for the people, even if what the people decide is not what YOU as an individual would. It's great that he claims that he will support the nominee no matter who they are, but the suggestion that he would tear down a candidate that he personally doesn't like, knowing his influence, is pretty gross to me. That being said, he should've been more aggressive in telling Joe not to run, because even if Joe wins, he's pretty clearly deficient as a candidate and as a person  ç§èȘèș«ăăăźäžăźäžăèȘ°ăăăăă, ă©ăăȘă«èŻăăăȘäșșçă§ă, ă©ăăȘă«æČæšăȘäșșçă§ă, ăă€ăăŻć€èČă, ç ŽćŁăăăæ¶æ» ăăŠăăŸă. ăăčăŠăăăšăăšăăźäžă«ććšăăȘăäžçŹăźć軿łăȘăźă ăă

My respect for Obama has really diminished in the past year. If they really try to stop Bernie from becoming the nominee if he gets the most votes in the primary, thereâs going to be an uproar in this country like never before. And you can bet that Trump will win a second term for sure if that happens. The DNC doesn't learn. The reason there's a primary and convention at all is because of the uproar and protests that happened when the DNC decided to randomly nominate a candidate behind closed doors. Still, they kept superdelegates with a disproportionate voting power. After losing with Hillary, they're doing their best to push Hillary 2.0. The DNC is so dumb it's astounding. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

Let's not act like Obamacare wasn't a mess of a compromise that basically worked in favor of private insurance companies. Let's not act like Obama isn't responsible for significantly expanding the drone program and killing tons of civilians including children in the middle east. He decided to ramp up immigrant family separation and deportations. I don't know how you think that's excusable.  We all wanted Obama to be a great president but he really wasn't. We all want to believe it so we can brag to the Republicans but it's simply not true. We wanted it to be true so we could fight all the racist attacks that conservatives made against Obama. But he didn't live up to it and he is a war criminal and an especially horrible one at that, plain and simple. I wanted to love Obama, I really did. And I called him a great president for a long time. But then I learned of the real awful stuff he did. You really want me to think of 200 people who died at a wedding from a drone strike and ignore it? Just call it "collateral damage" and move on? It's a f*cking disgusting mentality. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live
