Sidenote: when he was mayor of NYC he tried to speak Spanish to constituents here. If he's going on the National scale, he isn't going to win that demographic with dialect like this....

Hmmm maybe he’ll enter the “Let me Awkwardly speak Spanish randomly in the middle of the debate” wars with Cory Booker.

This is legitimately frustrating. We don't need people joining, we need people dropping out. This is still really a race between Warren, Sanders, and Biden. Everyone else is really an afterthought.

I am actually supportive of this. He's not a legitimate threat and the only candidate he's really going to strip votes from is Joe Biden. Bernie and Warren will ultimately benefit.

Us politics is so complicated and exhausting

 

In many Countries (including here in Canada) each party selects their own most competent candidate that speaks to the party. When we vote we only have to worry about the party

 

Letting anyone run only makes it possible either to have too many candidates or to have idiots running too

Honestly it feels like you have a few programs having at least 2 spokesperson each.

If it was about diversity of vision okay but here it's not with the 20000 candidates in the race lol.

You're forgetting that would make things far too simple   Just look at US history, we're not known for going the easy route. 

 

Also looking at countries like the UK, 'competent' is a pretty strong term
