Pete on CNN "The experience of being black is in no way comparable to being gay in America"

This could be taken two different ways. Context is important.

I have only seen you respond the way Trumpsters do by ignoring the original topic and switch it onto Bernie :toofunny: I haven't seen you actually address anything

Like I said I already answered the question in his original thread.

Look it up.

He was clarifying his statements on the debate. They asked him about it.

This is his full quote: ""The experience of being black in America is by no means comparable to being gay. I haven't had the experience of being discriminated bc of race""

I mean who would you call the debate for? No one had a particularly noteworthy performance but if you had to pick?

ONE person cheered for Tulsi here.

One literal cheer. Then, six users, yourself included, liked a post praising Tulsi for taking one of his quotes entirely out of context.

I can't. Nobody did anything truly noteworthy aside from the comedy pieces we got. It was a bad debate.

There are legitimate issues a person can take with Pete, but the way this site cheered Tulsi on when she totally misrepresented something Pete said, proves their not as interested in a debate of facts as they are interested in a debate of personality.

It was weird to watch the debate audience and this site praise a woman while she lied about another candidates position and praised her decision to meet with Assad. That’s how much they hate Pete. :toofunny:

Let me be very clear with you.

I have absolutely no idea why you or any of the other people in this thread have decided to get behind or defend a mayor of a town in Indiana with an absolutely atrocious record on race, with no experience in national politics at all, someone backed by billionaire donors and elite bundlers, someone propped up by the corporate media, someone who is not qualified in any way shape or form to be president, someone who has ZERO support from black voters, and someone who has attacked popular, progressive proposals to guarantee healthcare to all Americans, make public colleges tuition free and end student loan debt, but I'm sick of having to engage with it in these disingenuous posts.

The extent to which you all go to outright ignore the numerous scandals he's been embroiled in and the extremely legitimate criticism that we've brought up numerous times, all while intentionally misrepresenting what Sanders supporters on here are saying, is ridiculous.

You don't have the moral high ground here. You're backing a conservative democrat with embarrassing policy proposals and zero experience and trolling the supporters of the most progressive person in the race. Enough is enough.

"The media will call Pete the winner"

but I'm calling the losers of the debate to be the Bernadettes on GGD for their disinformation campaign and failure to respond on who is the genocidal regime and also Tulsi always Tulsi.

That isn't praising her or cheering her on as you claimed.

That reply was accurate in how Pete spun it to save himself. You're interpreting this incorrectly, at least from how I see it.

I voted for Sanders in the last presidental primary over Clinton, and I certainly have not said I would vote for Pete in this primary.

Defending a politician against a dishonest attack isn’t an endorsement.

Glad I could clear that up for you.
