Morphine Prince 109,729
Lol at the Bernie blaming. Do you people remember Bernie won Michigan and Wisconsin in the primaries? If he were the nominee and won and lost everything Hillary did he could have AT LEAST carried those two states Hillary failed to effectively campaign in. It’s 2019. Wake up to the reality. You’re about to make the same mistake in 2020.

Your candidate lost, even if you think it was unfair, your obligation was to band together to stand against Trump. Instead, the Bernie bros decided to further slander Hillary, scream #NeverHillary, wrote in #BernieorBust, VOTED FOR TRUMP, and eve voted third party. So yes, Trump is as a result of those people. They put him there. Bernie half assed his support for Hillary and failed to discourage his fans from not supporting the democratic party simply because he felt entitled to the presidency. Trump and Bernie both attracted many independents (Bernie IS one) who were tired of the status quo, so naturally some of these people were going to swing the other way. They weren’t loyal Democrats. If you check the margins Trump won by in those districts (all below 1%) you would realize that every single vote counted, every single vote. All of the votes. You’ll also see that 12% of Bernie voters defected to Trump. It doesnt matter whether or not they are fully responsible, at the end of the day, they played a part in Trump’s win. Let’s not ignore the significance of the young population that was attracted to Bernie but stayed home after he lost the primary or voted third party. We would have to look at the REAL numbers to make a conclusive decision on whether these people swung the election. Don’t forget the people who voted for Trump in the primary and voted for Clinton in the general... yes, they exist. Let’s not forget the Clinton campaigns mistakes in Michigan and other states. What you’re asking for simply isnt done unless they knock on every single bernie supporter’s door. Literally that’s how all polling is done: representative sampling. This is so hilarious that you discard it and call for REAL numbers Oh and I never absolved Hillary of any blame. Ironic because as you have proven, the Bernie stans continue to deny their own fault They need to take a deep look in the mirror first. yes, 2020 is right around the corner. Lets hope the bernie stans dont give Trump the presidency again once they lose. Lets hope Bernie doesn’t get extremely bitter again because then, we’d all be in trouble
NCgaga 4,345
I better not hear one complaint! The ones who chose not to vote at all, or vote for Bernie, or chose to vote for Trump over Hillary - Here ya go. Those who don't vote, or ignore warnings have ZERO RIGHT to speak on this issue. Enough is enough. Actually in this case enough isn’t enough except for the degree of misinformation you’re spewing right now. First of all be real, do you honestly think Hillary would have accomplished anything if she were president? Absolutely not especially not with a GOP controlled House and Senate during the first two years. Secondly, if you read her book she blatantly stated that she had no vision for her presidency and expected her campaign team to come up with this vision. Yeah, perfect sign of a leader right there. And last but not least, you can’t reasonably lump most of us Bernie supporters into the cesspool of idiots that banded together to vote for Trump. I will gladly tell you that I voted for Hillary in 2016–again, voted for her because I was voting against Trump. Deny it all you want, the real reason why “we’re in this mess” is because of lazy f**** that stayed home that night and because the establishment forced a candidate many people didn’t want. Is the country ready for a female president? I believe so; they just didn’t want her. Hillary lost; move on. If this bothers you so much, I would hope you’re being active and getting involved in either local politics or involved in one of the main presidential candidates’ campaigns. Be the change you want to see; pointing the finger of blame solves for nothing.
Lilmonzter 2,864
Demonizing Bernie Sanders or his supporters adds nothing to the conversation. I believe Trump is a necessary evil in the current political system. Hillary Clinton was and always will be a terrible candidate she had so much baggage including her husband. And in your opinion people should shut their eyes and heed to what the lesser of two evils are there?, I mean I agree Hillary would have been some what of a more stable president but since she hijacked the primaries people karma happened. She got what she deserved. She won the popular vote. I identify as an independent, but democrats really have this victim mentality that's why they keep losing. Elect someone like Warren and you surely will lose to trump, in head to head matchup, she's losing to him. Sing C'est la vie

The huge majority of sanders voters did exactly that tho... More so than the clinton voters did for obama after she lost to him in 2008 so sanders voters weren't bigger "unity breakers" than your average democrat voter, it's the opposite actually. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/8/24/16194086/bernie-trump-voters-study Also you never have 100% of the voters of one loosing candidate who goes behind the final nominee. Mainly when this final nominee makes a ticket with a more centrist man as a way to say "I'm not trying to rally behind me the main other force in my own party even if its spokesperson just won 23 states/ territories in the primaries". Here she basically gave them the finger so they clearly were pretty good "soldiers" seing the treatment they got from her. Think about Obama who did chose a Biden deemed more moderate than him to get more clinton voters after she lost being more of a moderate than him. It's what they do to unify a party and its a winning strategy. And the primary was proved to be rigged against Sanders by the DNC so... They actually REALLY were good little soldiers and forgiving when massively supporting HRC. 8 hours ago, KleinGa said: Instead, the Bernie bros decided to further slander Hillary, scream #NeverHillary, wrote in #BernieorBust, VOTED FOR TRUMP, and eve voted third party. A small portion only so saying "instead bernie voters did that" is not fair. Even this "bernie bros" terminology you use is, since years now, a name used to represent bernie voters as some kind of male only club which is absurd seing most of his support come from women. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/gyzjmb/bernie-bros-women-under-45-make-up-a-larger-share-of-bernie-sanders-base-than-men 8 hours ago, KleinGa said: Bernie half assed his support for Hillary He said she "would make an astounding president" and added he was "proud to stand with her" saying she "must become the new president" and that the choice wasn't "even close"...
