lol I'm picturing a cashier literally throwing carrots at a kid

I mean, the service I've received at some McDonald's isn't far off.  :toofunny:

From what I've experienced in management change in big companies is that it almost never gets better but worse. So I expect them to sell the pure grease  in the near future :enigma:  :vegas:

Ew, David!

Huh?!?!! They have a replacement already? Not even an interim? This could have been dealt in house. A simple resignation or payout, why so publicly? Why the need to ousted him? Why did they want to embarrass him? There’s a story behind the story. This must be political. Wither they didn't like him or he know too much and refused to cooperate with the higher up hence need to be removed.

Yes, this kind of nonsense is what you are looking forward to after you finish Uni, hunties. The workplace politics. Especially if you end up in big bonafide companies. People will want your position and will do all it takes to remove you.

In all the three times I've gone to Subway so far in my life, I've been treated like serving me was a big inconvenience by the cashiers :neyde:

Was it the same one? Cuz sometimes could be the employees there too

Tim Hortons which is huge here in Canada has a location in my city where 9/10 they are super slow and mess up something as well

Nope, all of them were in different places and several years apart. Honestly I don't feel like going there ever again unless it's my last resort, it's cheap but it's not that good and the way they treat clients... it's a big no for me.

They should just shut down the chain and get rid of it, honestly

And how might you suggest we replace the millions of jobs around the world that would be lost as a result of shutting down McDonalds?

Hmmm there must be more to this. I’ve worked in companies where this is a rule or an unspoken rule BUT it is never used unless they want to get rid of you.  The fact they’ve done this so publicly too?  Strange.

As someone else has pointed out, it seems like someone wanted him gone and to publicly shame him.  Wonder what the real tea is.

Cheap takeaway food isn’t the enemy, it’s a lack of education about food and/or issues with income that make it the only viable option for some people.
