I never had any celebrity encounters in my whole entire life. So I don’t know how to interact with them. 

But I understand OP the experience must be quite sad and devastating. I once flew all the way to Tokyo to attend a movie premiere     and bumped into the star I came all the way to see in the restroom, I pretended I didn’t know her.

Next year when I am in Vegas and if I saw Gaga on the casino floor I would totally act cool and comment: who’s that pink-headed whiskey-soaked mess.

I totally understand you and I would be SO disappointed if I payed all that money to go from Europe and to see her perform just to be rejected like that by your idol after you spent thousands of dollars on her. He paid to see her in concert though, not at the casino. 

Not trying to start anything with you, but this isn't her fault. It isn't her responsibility to please every fan she sees. Again, she was a little tipsy and may have not noticed, plus casinos are very loud and there were multiple people around her at the casino.

I’m saying the reason She sent security to talk to you was to make sure she had control of the situation because she’s been in life threatening situations before.

She can’t read your mind and know what you’re gonna do and say to her. Safety is her number one priority in public. She’s been famous for over ten years.

Every fan is can turn out to be stranger danger to her.

The thing is, it actually happens all the time, but people just don't post about it on a Gaga forum or social media. I guess because they understand Gaga's feelings and her boundaries or because they feel embarrassed, or because they think: Better luck next time.

All my friends and myself have seen her and have been ignored by her and it's totally fine. Try to sense if she's in the mood to talk, if it's a safe environment, don't be loud and draw attention to yourself, talk to security first if you decide to approach her or her friends and respect their wishes. I love her security because they communicate so well and are very friendly and straightforward. Might help that Peter is Dutch like me, but still.

Most importantly, always leave your phone in your pocket. She loves to talk to people and I've heard so many stories where people 'behave' and she walks back over to them after doing what she came to do (dinner for example) and have a quick chat and then she herself might even suggest you two have a selfie.

Also set your expectations low and don't expect Gaga to give you anything more than a great show. I've seen fans get so angry and disappointed and crying when Gaga doesn't pick up their letter or gift and I feel bad for them. They seem to enjoy the idea of being noticed by her more than watching her perform, trying everything to attract her attention. After I got on stage with her years ago, so many fans came up to me asking how I did it and I was like I didn't do anything but enjoy the show. 

Also, I just remembered this sad story. When we were lining up for a C2C show a group of fans suddenly left for the nearby mall because Natali and Lacee were spotted there... Some fans are pretty extreme so Gaga and her security develop a coping mechanism for this.

I had an interesting experience with Gaga's security myself on Saturday night...after Brian's show I tried to use the restroom attached to the restaurant and Gaga was sitting on the couch outside it with some people.  I wasn't trying to acknowledge Gaga or do anything at all...really truly just needed to pee (I had no idea she was even over there until I got halted).  First they gave me a hard time about trying to use the restroom and then made my husband wait out in a different hallway away from where Gaga was.  He obliged right away...and it's fine we get that there needs to be security and parameters.  But the overall way they handled us still felt rude/abrupt when we were attempting to comply.
