We can very clearly see how ASIB and Joanne are linked to one another sonically and in a sense thematically. I’m curious where in the process it was written, but it also makes sense why she had to go back after Joanne was done to do more because they only had a week which is absolutely insane. Yeah, I’m curious about the process too! I’m assuming they took this week early on in the ASIB process (I’m thinking like late April/May 2016?) to throw around some ideas for Bradley to take to WB for the pitching process. Like, he says he wants Gaga for the movie, they have these idea about the songs and the sound etc. Then after the movie was green lit (and Gaga was done with Joanne) they went back and worked on more stuff. Very interesting!

Mark's only song on the album is Shallow, even though there were more demos they worked on. True true I just mean that where everyone lost their s*** because they thought Gaga was in the studio for LG6; knowing this now, I see why she had to go back in. She simply didn’t have time to work on stuff before so I imagine her work with Ronson was in a sense outlining the overall sound so Bradley could pitch it to WB (not the movie, but how the music would sound).
