That delightful spooky time of year where we strive to fill your playlist with new versions of Gaga tunes, spiced up with some sick Halloween flavor! If any of you have dabbled in mixing or remixing or making Gaga songs sound different -- I pose a request: Send me your best Halloweenified version of a Lady Gaga song. You can use any Gaga song, acapella, instrumental, however you creatively see fit. You can mix it with Micheal Jackson, Vincent Price, Monster Mash, spooky growls, screams, cries, or sound effects. You can add audio from American Horror Story, from ASIB, from anything you want! As long as the end result turns to be something you'd like others to hear, that's kind of dancy or spooky or mood generating for Halloween. Gaga is naturally spooky anyway in some regards, songs like Bloody Mary, Monster, Bad Romance, Heavy Metal Lover, Schiesse, Judas, and Freakshow --these all fit the bill of interesting sounds that fit Halloween in some way. So the sky is truly the limit. Some songs to consider of course are things like Thriller , anything by MJ, anything dark and spooky, classical, or haunting. We did things like Monster Mash and Heads Will Roll, and other things like Marilyn Manson or Blvck Ceiling. I encourage you to go wild! Make it killer! Michael Jackson is an inextricable part of Halloween playlists around the world. I can't reverse engineer him out completely from all the Gagaweens we've done since 2011. I also cannot reverse engineer history -- this is a guy with a history of incredible good things and probably/possibly/likely incredibly bad things that he did. My choice is celebrate the good he did for the world and vehemently condemn the bad he did. Let's not drag the negative into this halloween celebration , if we can avoid it...
