If Apple do pull this off it will be quite impressive to house all the sensors in the notch into a much smaller footprint. People saying android phones got rid of notch.... yes, but they never had the same sensors that an iPhone X and up did in the first place.

:coffee: I feel like I'm starting to get smartphone fatigue.

I use the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, for context. I honestly haven't seen anything from any manufacturer that really makes me want to upgrade unless my phone breaks. Kinda burned out on these very incremental industry-wide ~$1,00 annual "upgrades"

Basically this.

Adding 3 camera lens or Animoji isn't going to convince me to upgrade my phone. :madge:

this is the easiest thing on earth to photoshop. camera modules are so big...it would never fit that close to the edge. If they engineered a sensor that small for all of these cameras and stuff it would be unprecedented I think.

There's a game-changing feature in the new iPhone that was not mentioned during the launch because the software is not ready but the hardware is already in the phone.

Have you realized how tiny the camera and everything is right now? The only difference is that it’s all packed in the notch but if they separate every sensor it’s small enough to put it up there.

But the space free for a sensor to fit in is so small, they'll be forced to use a smaller sensor. That's just how it works, can't be worked around.
