...Lawsuit Against five Countries

16 year old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg recently made a very powerful speech targeting U.N. countries about climate change. The speech is based heavily on leaders that are money hungry, not doing enough despite saying that they want to make big changes in quick amounts of time, and saying that they have overall betrayed future generations by either not doing anything or enough.

She is also taking part in a lawsuit with 15 other kids against five countries demanding stronger action against climate change. The five nations being sued are some of the biggest carbon producers on the planet.

Powerful. Isn't it funny how a 16 y/o normal student can speak and act more mature that a 73 y/o president?

Incredible speech.

So many adults are bullying her on Twitter. A pathetic set of people.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

-Mahatma Gandhi.

Someone posted this in the comment section for the video. As long as she keeps pushing, which based on her stance she definitely will, change will come eventually.

Godspeed, Greta!

Incredible speech. I hope Canadians have been tuning in as our election is around the corner and we (per capita) are one of the absolute worst emitters.

I think she would’ve made a bigger statement if she had made her speech via video transmission as opposed to flying on a gas guzzling jet.

I find her a bit scary somehow... What she says is good, and I agree. But she gives me the creeps

Hope I don't sound rude but I feel like her "scariness" is actually for the best like I hope it actually affects these people to take action even more if that makes sense :selena::stalkga:
