According to new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Jodi Montgomery, who has stepped in for Spear's father Jaimie as conservator, is asking the court to make sure she gets paid. In the docs, she reminds the court she was appointed on September 9, 2019 as Britney's new conservator and has already begun her duties. Also, Jamie Spears has already hashed out with the court a salary which has been paid over the years, so there is already orders in place for the specifics. As we reported, Jaime takes home over $100,000 for his previous duties as conservator, plus reimbursement for his home office. "Ms. Montgomery’s understanding that a similar order is currently in effect for the Conservator of the Estate and his attorneys," she wrote in the filing. Its unclear, if she will ask for the same amount as Jaime was receiving from Britney. She makes it clear that the new team is already working on helping Britney so it needs to be done in a timely manner. "As Ms.Montgomery has already started to serve as Temporary Conservator Of the Person and her attorneys have already started to render legal services, it is exigent that the payment of their fees and costs on account be approved," she told the court. We broke the story, Jaime Spears stepped down as conservator for Britney Spears after he was accused of abusing one of her sons. Jaime claimed "medical issues" for the reason he is stepping aside, but he is also restrained from contact with her children making it very hard to conduct business. Britney is due back in court in this week. Source: The Blast An extremely important hearing is taking place TOMORROW where it will be decided by the judge whether britney requires a conservatorship and what the results of the investigation on britney's team were. Guest Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 I’m so disgusted by this whole situation 🤦🏻♀️ Britney doesn’t need someone to control her every move, she never has. All she needs is someone who can be there to help her with certain things like keeping up with doctors & such but by no means to the extent that it’s been taken. Jaime & her mom always saw her as a cash cow & her father has kept her under lock & key for the past decade milking her for everything she’s got. He’d be nothing & have nothing without her & I’m pretty sure he’s still going to be getting a check through this new conservator & is the reason he chose her instead of the court choosing someone.
