This problem is not unique to UK. But what is use in just attributing it to him being racist trash. The problem is definitely not unique to the UK and there are of course lots of reasons that people are getting radicalised across the world. I was just suggesting some reasons for UK citizens because this man was one and because there are far fewer incidents like this in the UK than in places like America.
