50 year old terrorist stabs teen in racially motivated attack

A far-right extremist watched a video of the Christchurch terror attack before slashing a 19-year-old Bulgarian with a knife, a court has heard.

Vincent Fuller, of Stanwell, Surrey, has previously admitted attempted murder at Kingston Crown Court.

The 50-year-old denies a terrorist motive and Judge Peter Lodder QC must rule on the issue before sentencing.

The court heard Fuller, who went on "a rampage" in Stanwell, intended to strike fear into the hearts of Muslims.

Fuller, of Viola Avenue, carried out his 16 March attack the day after the murder of 51 Muslim worshippers in New Zealand by a white supremacist, who livestreamed the shootings online.

A video excerpt of the massacre on Fuller's phone was played to the court. 

The court was told Fuller, before the attack, wrote on Facebook to get "non-English ... out of England" and showing support for the events in New Zealand.

Video, taken from a doorbell and played to the court, showed Fuller carrying a baseball bat and seeking entry into a house, shouting racist abuse.

Prosecutor Jonathan Polnay described how a neighbour heard him say: "All Muslims should die. White supremacists rule. I'm going to murder a Muslim."

Fuller walked along a road swinging a bat at cars before returning home to arm himself with a 12-inch kitchen knife, the court heard.

At a local Tesco car park, he attacked two occupants of one car - Dimitar Mihaylov and his black friend - after he walked past two white people in another vehicle, Mr Polnay said.

The court heard Mr Mihaylov was parked with his window down when a man approached, carrying a knife, and told him "you're going to die".

Fuller then racially abused the armed officers who arrested him, calling them "race traitors", Mr Polnay said.

This terrorist admits his attack was racially and religiously motivated, but denies a terrorist motive. That’s literally what it is.

Most people who want brexit don't have racist motives but for those that do, every delay of brexit radicalises them a little bit more, particularly because it seems undemocratic not to give what people voted for in a referendum.

Unfortunately, Boris Johnson (the new prime minister) probably isn't the best prime minister to soothe race relations. While he's almost definitely not racist, comments he's made like that women wearing hijabs look like bank robbers or postboxes, don't ease tensions.

Just before going on a rampage, Fuller posted on his Facebook: 'I am English, no matter what the government say. Kill all the non-English and get them all out of England.'

'I agree with what that man did in New Zealand as we will not be brainwashed to this their wrong [sic].'

At the start of his rampage Fuller banged on his neighbour Parmjit Bansal's door and yelled: 'Come out you black c***'.

Video footage from a camera in her doorbell, which was played in court, showed Fuller, hooded and wearing a cap, swinging the weapon and twice shouting racial abuse.

Ms Bansal told police he had racially abused her in the past, saying 'Dirty Indians' and 'Why did you let these P**** move in.'

Other neighbours heard him also shout 'you f****** black c****.

Simon Marriot was driving along Town Lane when he saw Fuller brandishing the baseball bat.

'The man was shouting 'I am going to f***ing kill you, I am going to cut your throat you black b******.

The court heard that Mr Mihaylov, who is lightly tanned, was in the in the car with his friend Kai Genus-Watson, who is black and has a beard and a 'do-rag' headscarf for men.

Ugh, why some people feel the need to assert their “white supremacy” is beyond me. I’m white and you don’t see me saying “white supremacists rule”, it’s ridiculous, it doesn’t matter what colour your f*cking skin is, nobody is better than anybody. That’s what infuriates me so much.

You see, not getting offended wouldn’t stop this man from racially abusing his neighbors for years (just scroll up, all the names he used), neither it would prevent him from getting violent because of it.

White supremacists are inspired by one another, like this one was by New Zealand massacre. It’s a dangerous ideology, not taken seriously in many countries, and they often get radicalized online.

Not sure if this is suppose to justify anything or? This man was most likely racist trash long before Brexit (check what his neighbor said) and white supremacist ideology is getting popular all over the world, he was inspired by New Zealand massacre, the only good thing he didn’t have access to same type of weapons.

In which case, if somebody were to get violent with me, the Nottingham boy in me would come out and I would fight back. Actions speak louder than words as people say, therefore his words would not bother me (if it were aimed at me) but the moment he got physical, there would be a beat down

If you’re unarmed and not expecting it, when someone comes at you with a bat and 12 inch knife (or a gun) you wouldn’t be able to do much to fight back. You said by yourself you’re white, so his racial slurs and abuse would never affect you anyway.

Obviously I wasn't justifying it. I was suggesting some reasons why it happened. If we just ignore why these things happen, then we won't deal with the underlying problems and they will just happen again.

You can explain it as him being 'racist trash' or you can look at the reasons people begin to feel that way and try and prevent that happening to others.

Not sure you understood my point. You said racism, among other things, would cease to exist, only if people wouldn’t get offended. This case and so many others like it, prove you wrong. Also, it’s weird to talk about how much racism shouldn’t offend or affect  others, when you are not a racial minority by yourself, you know what I mean?

So you don’t agree he’s a racist trash? He did not once mention Brexit or politicians, he did however racially abuse his neighbors, cops, he yelled “white supremacy rules”, that tells there’s a lot more and he’s not the first one to get radicalized. This problem is not unique to UK.

A bit of cruel and unusual punishment for a crime like this wouldn't go amiss. I don't know why they keep playing with these people.

Terrorists deserve the absolute worst. I have no sympathy.
