Mr S 8,672
Who has done it? Who has yet to do it? Let's define a hit as a top 10 in the USA. Yes: Beyonce (Formation), Taylor (Calm Down), Katy (Chained to the Rhytm),, Janet (Rhythm Nation), Madonna (Papa Don't Preach), LG (Born This Way) No: Rihanna, Mariah, Ariana (still early), Celine, have not/did not. Debatable: Whitney (Star Spangled Banner)? Adele (Hometown Glory)?

RRR 3,996
I feel like Born This Way was a highly political song, since it's about one of the major themes in the political landscape. However, it's also up for debate whether or not it's "political."
