Hedi’s collections at Celine bounced back after his questionable debut. Like did y’all expect for her to be in Off-White or something? We all deserved a patently bourgeoisie editorial inspired by working women in New York and Paris during the late 70s. Like yes, this is promo for the album but the cover isn’t gonna look like her album era aesthetic... I wonder is it because of the makeup? I’ve never seen her without Ruby Woo red lipstick and cat eye wing eyeliner. She looks refreshing to me. Even the hair is working for me. Like everything is so calculated today on instagram and I felt refreshed seeing these covers. She teased two unreleased tracks, 'The Man' and the title track, 'Lover', take that for what you will I personally don't particularly like it when there is a title track, BUT the lyrics sound good "My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue. All's well that ends well to end up with you," (Lover) "If I had made all the same choices, all the same mistakes, all the same accomplishments, how would it read?" (The Man).
