Big Sean made his return to the rap game with a pair of singles as he looks toward his anticipated fifth studio album. The Detroit native didn't waste any time in following up the Jhené Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign-assisted "Single Again" with a cinematic visual directed by Laurence Lamont to go alongside it.

The clip finds Sean guilty in the court of public opinion, as the video's setting finds him standing trial in a society that locks its citizens up for allegedly cheating on their significant others. Look for cameos in the short film from comedian Haha Davis, Ryan Destiny and Keith Powers. "The video has a lot of important messages, but the main one is for people to ‘wake up and smell the roses’ in a world where we wake up and check our phones instead," Sean said in a statement accompanying the visual.

Lamont chimed in that the video shows how impactful things like social media can be in our current society and the issues that come with it. "The visual highlights a few social issues, including social media’s ability to sway people’s opinions to the point of disharmony, the social pressures faced by Millennials and Generation Y and media coverage of the Black man," the director added. "While bringing these key issues to light, I also wanted to capture Detroit’s beautiful spirit and style."
