Also, European Christians pretty much prefers that Jerusalem would stay under a Jewish state and not under any Islamic state, don't forget that, it's an issue that somehow became forgotten and silent. ARTPOP2 3,948 Posted July 23, 2019 Share Posted July 23, 2019 when I see sh*t like this, I just realize how privileged I am and how privileged we all are talking about Islamophobia, anti-semitism, racism, etc. in an opressive society while there's a literal apartheid crushing the lives of innocent people (and many other violently oppressive regimes) and suddenly these white society issues seem like a distraction from more prominent and violent bigotry and oppression happening in other countries, outside our own bubble. however, don't get me wrong, these issues are still real and important and impact lives, I will still fight against them with all my will amd power, but maybe I (and we) should also pay more attention to things outside my western-centric view of things. more like an introspection I liked to share, don't come at me Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
