It wouldn't let me embed the music video's link which is even more of a mess

They ruined the entire meaning of this song

I could go off about that, but last time I went off about something, I got warning points and I am on the verge of being banned

the mess really starts around 1:10 btw

I always hated when people covered BTW and cut the “No matter gay straight or bi” segment. What was the point of even covering it? You contradict the whole message of the song.

Yeah, they ruined the entire meaning, also, it would have helped some kids who where questioning, and increase visability for us gheys.

also, instead of a "A Differant Lover Is Not A Sin," They say "A differant viewpoint is not a sin"

The Carpenters

So they cut out the most important part of the song... curious is they kept lyrics from a problematic song just because it was about a straight relationship. Hmmm. Little monsters do your thing and find one! Lol

Capital M-E-S-S

also, they cut the portion regarding ethnicities. Like why?? What is the point of this song then?

To be fair, they'd have to change them to neutral lyrics because it's sung by kids for kids. I guess to please everyone they'd have to change the more "grown up" lyrics because some kids wouldn't be aware what any of that stuff means yet. You've got to let kids be kids before they start questioning their sexuality. Otherwise the Karens would be like "why did you make my kid sing this line about being bi when he's only 5".

They also cut the line about ethnicities. I don’t see the reasoning behind that. This whole cover is just wrong all together.

but why should we serve the Karens, a parent can decide what they want their child to listen too, if Karen had a problem with some of the lyrics, she doesn't have to play it to her child

also, I think we should educate kids about Lgbt issues, because homophobia roots from people being misinformed, and uneducated, and for them to be educated about issues, we will have less homophobia, and kids of even 5-6 are being taught by eachother that saying homophobic things is okay and being gay is bad, these lyrics could help educate kids about these issues, and with that education, we will have less homophobia in the world.

I dunno, I mean the song was made in 2011, and even then, it was a different time, but still
