Because Gaga was not really always in charge of her career during BTW/ARTPOP.

Apparently, she also wanted Government Hooker and Heavy Metal Lover as singles, as well as Aura, Sexxx Dreams, Manicure and probably Gypsy during ARTPOP. But the promotion was taken in charge by her team, and it looks like she had little to say when it came to choosing singles.

saddest thing to ever experience as a fan i must say. to see her performing this songs is so powerful

Why scheibe didn't become a single?

Cause Interscope didn't want to. Simple as that !

For me she should have done that :

1)BTW  (Perfect as lead)

2)Judas

3)Americano (perfect for the summer)

4)Scheisse (Perfect for the new scolary year)

5)Bloddy Mary (A winter anthem)

6)HML

I don't see any other person on here with my username, so it is original :)

And yes they sound similar, doesn't make it not original. I already stated in my pervious comment, I know there similarities to it. But, again, it was written and produced by Gaga and RedOne, obviously they are going to sound similar. But, they have very different production and very different songwriting to it aswell.

Oh my, I guess u dont know about this?

this was released before Judas, Judas and this use the same sample...

This comment isn't either.

And if you're implying that Judas sounds like Bad Romance, Gaga wrote and produced both songs with RedOne. Obviously it will have similar influences, but both are very different. The same can be said about LoveGame and Poker Face. Gaga has this style of her songs that sound similar since all those songs are written by her and RedOne, but all of them sound different. You don't need to downgrade a song, just because you don't like it, you can take you negativity else where.

I love most of your takes on gaga songs, but I wouldn't agree with this. Lyrically, Bad Romance and Judas have the same structure. They start with a vocalization, go into the chorus, into another vocalization (rah rah ah ah ah, judas ju-du-ah-as), and then go into the verse/chorus/verse/chorus/breakdown/chorus. While I know that that's the standard song structure, what gets me is how similar the vocalizations are and that it is an exact copy of each other's structure.

I love the song but it would be a disaster as a single. Half of its "lyrics" are words that dont even exist :awkney:

Lets keep it as a fan favorite

I think it would’ve been a great single tbh but there was one major problem.

The song title means “sh*t” in German and wouldn’t gone well there. Also the GP might not of been to keen on the German gibberish she was speaking in the beginning of the song. (Never mind what the Germans would think).

She wanted it to be. Marry The Night, Born This Way, Scheiße + Y&I were the singles she wanted.

I love the idea of Gaga releasing a (long overdue) Greatest Hits album that includes unreleased and underrated songs that are tweaked and released as singles. Monster, DITD, Scheisse, Hair, Venus, Gypsy, Manicure, Animal, Reloaded, Brooklyn Nights, Nothing on but the Radio, Princess Die, Freakshow...

Anyway, BTW was the only time LG released the title track of an album as a single (WDYTYG was not the original title track) and I think that era was mismanaged in several ways; BTW was going to be an epic anthem, so having it lead an album that was highly anticipated was a waste. BTW, MTN, EOG, and Scheisse were all smashes that could have each led distinct eras/albums, so putting them onto the same one was already doing disservice to 3/4. Lastly, excluding unreleased content, this album had so much high-quality music that it could have been split into 2 albums that, with the right timing and promo, would have killed it at the height of LG's career. There were 2 clear themes: 1 being self-love/acceptance (BTW, MTN, Scheisse, The Queen, Bad Kids, Hair), and the other being a truly LG twist on religion mixed with love and fashion (Judas, Bloody Mary, Electric Chapel, Black Jesus).

TFM was way too short of an album and era; Judas and Bloody Mary would have made great additions to the album, with Monster, DITD, and Speechless making great singles. Meanwhile, the pre-ARTPOP era was far too long and a Greatest Hits drop with a rock vibe and HML, Electric Chapel, and The Queen could have been 'filler' singles while ARTPOP was polished.

Marry the Night leading the era would have smashed, with BTW released with the album near its actual release period still most likely hitting #1 easily. With two #1 hits, the 3rd single could have been more experimental, and I think Hair would have been a great single. It was catchy, empowering to a larger audience than BTW, and was less serious which could have pre-empted the whole 'LG is pretentious' garbage that would later come. TEOG as a 4th single would have calmed any storm that an experiment like Hair may have caused. With at least 3 top 10 songs, the 5th release could have again been a little riskier, which is where Scheisse should have come in and brought LG back to her base of electro-pop/club-stomping monsters. Change the title if needed.. 'Woman + Kind' or 'Dance (on a Single Prayer)' or 'Without Permission' / 'Dance without Permission.' I think it would have been huge.

LG and BTW era deserved more than 1, 10, 3, 6, 27 for its singles. However it had to be done... breaking up the album, saving songs, releasing earlier/later, whatever. MTN and Scheisse should have been singles and should have been top 10 hits. So many artists let their eras extend into what felt like forever when they were on a roll (Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kesha...); 5 singles from the #1 pop superstar should not have led to burnout. MTN, BTW, Hair, EOG, Scheisse, You and I, and HML all could have and should have succeeded.
