In 100 years we will have ruined the earth so much idk what the world will look like then if we dont all blow ourselves into a new ice age with a nuclear war

But loving to 130 or 140 I suppose is nice

Should be noted that 130-140 is an educated guess for human life span not life expectancy which is different

Human life expectancy in most developed nations is a little over 80 years but the max human life span is around 115 or a little over which is the oldest age that the absolute oldest humans live to

130-140 would be the oldest humans not the average.

If ppl get Alzheimer's and brain dies, or blood vessels stop being functional or other cells in the body not from vital organs shut down from ageing, even with vital organs replaced most humans might not live to 130 as other body functions fail before getting to that age

The heart, lungs, kidneys, liver after all is not all ur body needs to survive. Replacing them will only keep u alive for so long

Meh earth's population is supposed to peak within 30 to 40 years or so do to collapsing birth rates

So, it will probably be fine. By the time this becomes available to everyone we will be dealing with falling population

In the long term what matters is birth rates not how long people live. Because ppl that live longer will still die eventually. What matters is whether the birth rates are above or below population replacement rate

Cool but no thanks don't want to needlessly extend my suffering :neyde:

omg same

theres nothing i want more than to die at 80 years old, not 90 but 80 :selena:

honestly after a few decades enough is enough, it gets boring and tiring. im already bored havent even started yet

also it feels like everything is truly meaningless and we are in some kind of waiting room doing random **** to pass the time to wait for death so it must mean death is something special, i dont see it in a negative way personally

They are already raising it in some countries because of aging population, lower birth rates and longer life expectancy

-UK raised from 65 to 67

- Germany raised from 65 to 67

- USA Going Up from 65 to 67

- Portugal from 65 to 66

Those are just examples I know. If we lived much longer they definitely would have to be raised further

But once ur older and financially secure that's when u can really travel and have fun. More and more senior citizens are doing it these days

If your 70 or 80 and still in good health and can move around, that's a time u can have a lot of new experiences in life!
