Human Lifespan May Rise To 130 Years With New Lab Grown Organ Trials

Several months ago the first successful organ transplant (lungs) from lab grown organs were made in pigs

 

Tho organs have been grown for years in labs so far the experiments have failed to keep test animals alive as the organs failed to create the necessary blood vessel networks to keep the organ alive

 

New techniques have now been made and in this last experiment after 2 months the grown lungs were still alive and oxygenation in the pigs was 100% which means the blood vessel network was well formed and there was no deterioration

 

For now trials will continue in animals but Human trails are expected to start as early as 5-10 years from now

 

Some scientists have said the max human lifespan could be increased by decades possibly to 130 to 140 years if being able to replace old organs with new ones becomes a reality

This happens in China, basically. They harvest the organs of detainees in Chinese internment camps & jails for those high up in the communist party.

In this case the organs are grown using your own DNA to prevent rejection risks

 

It also would be the perfect size for your body and it's basically a younger version of your organ

This would make u healthier tho in old age which means less suffering

 

Imagine ditching oxygen tanks cuz u got new lungs... Or stopping dialasys because you got new kidneys... Or more energy cuz a younger heart pumps more efficiently!

That's max lifespan not average life expectancy the scientist who had talked about this was predicting

 

Just like the longest lived humans now on earth are usually 115 to 116 but the average person doesn't live even close to that

 

Maybe this will raise current life expectancy from the current low 80s to maybe 100 or 110?

Not long ago I read that scientists think that the genetic human limit is 115 and that they didnt believe that anything would get us past that.

So this is interesting

The oldest person on earth is usually 114 to 116 with only a very rare few surpassing that

 

That seems to be the natural limit

 

But I guess if u replace old organs ur cheating so u can add a few more years

I meant mental suffering, unless they can give me a new brain. And I literally haven't had energy since I was 14 lol 

I couldn't imagine stopping medical intervention if I haven't yet had it, I would have to be old and on oxygen to appreciate it I guess!

Is there any point on living ~100 more years from now? Won't earth be destroyed enough to not make a life very pleasent at this point?
