Pop Art 1,773 Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) Will be disappointed if the ARTPOP lead single doesn't become Diamond in Japan, the UK and the US :@ I honestly hate to break it to you, but that's basically an impossible task. The US has yet to see it's first Diamond digital single. Yes, GaGa could be the first to accomplish this, but the chances are very slim. However, the song may sell over 10 million in Japan, the US, and the UK combined, effectively 'certifying' it as Diamond. If I had to estimate, I'd guess that ARTPOP's lead single would sell around 1.5 million in a worst case scenario, and around 4.5-5 million in a best case scenario.
