It’s not german. She butchered it

Well, we could say she speaks actual German in G.U.Y. :stalkga:

like some members said, madonna has the most unique discography but all of her albums are awful:messga: I'm not hating but I just can't get into her albums, I've tried to listened to them like 5 times in my life. Her albums have A LOT of fillers and she even has some filler albums. I love listening to full albums but for some reason I only like her singles.

This is a Gaga thread buddy

It's a thread comparing discographies by pop stars. Including Madonna's, who was mentioned in the OP.

I agree even though Madonna is another contender. All her albums are a reinventure and have their own soundscape and influences. Madonna still has the far longer career so the comparison is fair but both are creative and adventurous artists on their own. :ohwell:

I’ve thought about this before too and it’s made me ask “what is Gaga’s sound?” Most artists have a specific vibe/sound that they go for and it’s present in most of their discography, where every single  Gaga song is different from the rest and each album has a completely different sound to any of the previous ones. Seriously tho is their one gaga song that sounds like the other? ( the only ones I can think of are Fashion of his love vs the queen)

Besides for the general sound of the songs being different,  she is able to change her voice and play around with words in a way that makes her so unique. I’m not trying to pit her against other pop girls but most of them have their voice and they use it the same way over and over again in each song. Where Gaga is able to so effortlessly change her singing style from song to song. What a f*cking legend

Her albums tracks>> :bye:

Deeper cuts are where her legit stuff is. Spanish Eyes, Till Death Do Us Part, Keep It Together, Why Is It So Hard?, Thief of Hearts, I'd Be Surprisingly Good for you, Sky Fits Heaven, Skin, Impressive Instant, Mother and Father, Nobody Knows Me, Easy Ride, Intervention, Devil Wouldn't Recognize you, Falling Free, Wash It All Over Me, Iconic, Inside Out, Unapologetic Bitch were all non-singles.

It's because she has two very crucial things: a strong, bedrock understanding of songwriting and a powerful, versatile singing voice. Even from interviews you can tell that she was totally a music geek growing up – learning the piano, playing her parent's records – enough that she went to music school and was trying to making it in the NY music scene. From Red & Blue to the A Star Is Born soundtrack you can hear that she just has this innate instinct for melody and production (the quirks in every hook of every song in The Fame, the unrestrained bangerfest that is ARTPOP, and her genre exploration with Cheek to Cheek and Joanne) and it's the exact same reason why she can strip down her biggest anthems to just the piano and still make it sound so compelling.
