That being said, when she and cash money pulled out of all BET affiliated shows, etc. That should've been that. Her ego-maniacal delusions about her stature at the BET awards is kind of ridiculous considering the show was dropping in ratings gradually as the years go on with and without nicki minaj (as literally all award shows have been because people dont tune into cable anymore and just watch clips of their favorite artists at their leisure), the only year it spiked back up was in 2016 when beyonce opened the show. nicki minaj makes little difference to viewership and profit for them. shes just another cow grazing on the field. so...... I agree, both Beyoncé and Rihanna have been disrespected by BET before but instead of letting their egos take control, they kept quiet and composed. Now BET relies on them for bringing in viewers and doing anything they can to get them to show up. Instead of acting immature, she could’ve just stayed silent because in the end BET needs artists if they’re gonna get any viewers so she could’ve made them rely on her.
