Folks often saw gaga with red lips, dramatic eye liner, over the top wigs and tons of foundation. These artificial looks age everybody of 8 to 12 years at least.  Her former bonecheeks plumping made her eye contour&cheeks look deep like if she had lost her youth facial fats early and it aged her a lot as well.

Same thing happened to Kylie Jenner. She was 21 yo on this pic but with thees injections you could tell me she's about to turn 30 there. Imagine a red lip+ a drag queen wig on her and you could even tell me she's 35 so I get why gaga appeared older than she is to many people.

I don’t think there were many instances during the classic Gaga years where she looked old for her age, but they were there (e.g. Bad Romance music video and 2010 Grammy Awards). She never looked like an old woman during the BTW and AP eras. Then Cheek to Cheek happened...

It's kinda creepy that so many female celebrities try to look like teenage girls when it's grown men who they're mostly catering to.

She's an old soul. The way she talks and presents herself sometimes makes her seem way older than she is.

I don't know whether it's just because I'm a fan and so used to seeing her face, but I just see her as the age she is. I also haven't known anyone personally to think she was way older.

She can def make herself appear much older than she is at times. It's hard to believe that she's 23-25 in these pictures. 

She def tried to go for a more mature look in her early-mid twenties, which is prob why so many people see her as older than she is. But honestly I've been thinking she's looking younger recently. 

 

I know how everyone likes to make fun of her fillers and talk about how much they "age" her, which they definitely did in late 2015-2016, but now they're much less "harsh" and I think it keeps her young looking. By age 33 most caucasian women tend to show at least some signs of aging in the skin, but hers is still flawless.

You’re the only one that got it right lol. In that first set of pictures she was at her peak (2009/2010 TFM era) and she tried to make herself look older. That Barbra Walters interview for example was huge since it used to be a big deal to be interviewed by Barbra and it was the first time she spoke about her bisexuality. Her public perception wasn’t young starlet in her early 20’s.

When I told my friends that she's around 30 they were lowkey shocked because they thought she was 40 at least  I can't blame them, she's been looking older since day one than her actual age (clothes, make up and her natural features).
