Bye 3,947 Posted August 31, 2019 Share Posted August 31, 2019 Why do Billboard allow standalone singles to just be added to be an album even when it's obvious they weren't going to be included? I don't blame the artists for playing with the system. It's the industry that should put a stop to it. The worst is when an album is released and then a single released earlier is tacked on. It just doesn't make sense and destroys an album as a body of art as opposed to commercialisation. Before digital and streaming, you couldn't simply add a song to a physical CD that people already own. It's ridiculous and shouldn't continue.
