Free speech is overrated

Free speech is important but too many people, usually right-wingers, have forgotten what free speech actually means. It is about the government not being allowed to silence its citizens but private sites like GGD, YouTube, Twitter and so on can enforce their own rules. Free speech doesn't apply to you anymore when you go against the etiquette of the place. It's simple but it seems not simple enough.

At least against the right-wingers we got a surge of green, usually LGBT supporting, parties too. Let's celebrate that :vegas:

I actually remembered that you're Romanian :sis: I wish you all the luck to change the current government into something that actually cares for its people.

Thank god someone on this site isn’t part of the leftist political cult that all gay people are pushed into. Most people on this site are coming from an American perspective and don’t realize that European far-right parties aren’t automatically anti-gay, and for many they are supported by homosexuals more than any other party. I wonder how pro-immigrant they’d be if the immigrants and refugees entering their country wanted homosexuality to be illegal or punishable as is the case in France.

Naieve, self destructive people. Keep voicing your politics. It’s refreshing in this echo chamber.

The hipocrisy... You don't get to ban some people because they think differently and support different politicians. Just because you think you're right doesn't mean everyone else should think the same way. :spin:

PS: Before you run up to respond, just read it and think about it :rip:

Yes they are. I'm from Germany and the link I posted the page ago compares all the major German parties how they stand on LGBT problems. Guess which was the only party that was openly homophobic and that tries to remove rights of LGBT people. Right it is the right-wing party (AfD)

Actually don't vote based on their gay rights agenda. It's true that most LGBTQ-friendly measures are proposed by progressive parties, but not at all. Someone watching this chart might think the center is the best option

I don't vote for the "best" LGBT party here because I disagree fundamentally with nearly everything else they propose, so I settled for the #2. I was dragging this factor into this because the user said they wouldn't be homophobic eventhough they're objectively the worst major party for LGBT matters.
